HPV Vaccine Effective at Four Years

A four-year study of 17,000 women in North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region show that the vaccine against human papillomavirus effectively prevents lesions caused by infection both with virus types contained in the vaccine and, to a lesser extent, other serotypes for up to four years.
