Lynn Anderson, APN, Certified Nurse-Midwife
I began my career as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, but soon discovered that I had the heart of a midwife. Now I have the privilege of working with a group of nurses and physicians at Women’s Health Specialists of Nevada that value the approach and perspective of midwifery.
Every woman deserves to have the birthing experience of her choice. I believe birth is a normal, natural process that should be interfered with as little as possible. That is the foundation of my practice and my role is to ensure that each client has all of her physical and emotional needs met. Together with family, we become partners in what I believe is the most important event in a woman’s life.
I also care for women through the lifespan, from puberty through menopause and beyond. After raising two children of my own, I find I particularly enjoy working with adolescents. I collaborate regularly with the physicians of Women’s Health Specialists enabling our practice to offer patients the experience they want, as well as the medical support they may require.
